I don't think it's going to hit us here.
Earl knocked out the power while we were sleeping so other than resetting the clocks, router and water filtration system we have survived.
We had our first hard frost last night. I woke up this morning feeling a chill in the air and saw it was 61 degrees in the house, I had to turn on the furnace. It's too early to start that shit.
There's a chance I might not be around for a few days, we have a big storm with hurricane force winds on the way. Last time there was a similar storm we didn't have power for a week.
The wind will not stop, it's crazy. One of my fence posts snapped off, I'll be lucky if that's the only one that breaks. Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend...stupid nature. Normally it wouldn't be such a huge deal but it's right by the neighbor's driveway/side door of the house.
