When's the heat supposed to break?
It's been tropical, mid 90s with record humidity, supposed to be like this all week. Our heat index today was 109 in the shade.
Too many fat chicks not wearing enough clothes!
I'm surprised this thread hasn't been commented on. We're at 102 right now, but thankfully it will go down over the weekend... 99 tomorrow and 91 on Sunday. You need a machete to cut thru the humidity.
We didn't have it that bad, wow. It only got to 99 on Tuesday with 80% humidity, it was insane. It's been slowly going down since then, today it's only 87.
We cooled off this week but it's heading back up next week.
Any of you guys get flooded over the weekend? I saw there was some serious rainfall over the weekend.
This is the week I usually go on vacation with the whole family to the outer banks each year. No one could agree on the house this year so we scrapped the vacation.
We'd be on our way home right now if we had agreed since there is a mandatory evac by 8am tomorrow.

yep, it is pre-emptive. All "visitors" have to get out, residents can stay at their own risk.
