"A convicted steroid dealer who provided documentary evidence and testimony to N.F.L. officials last month that tied several players to the use of performance-enhancing drugs was found shot to death Thursday morning at his home in Plano, Tex., the police said. David Jacobs, who pleaded guilty to federal steroid distribution charges last year, began cooperating with N.F.L. officials shortly after he was sentenced to probation in May. He was found dead at his home with his girlfriend, Amanda Jo Earhart-Savell,

This is right in my area. Unfotunately, all my cop buddies are Dallas cops. Don't have any ins in Plano.

Of course, Pacman Jones did just get to town. Just saying.
Taking away someone's 3 million dollar per year livelyhood is a dangerous thing to do.

The one thing that puts a consipracy slant on it is that the guy had a beef with the Plano cops saying one of them stole from him. Not that they did anything at all, but they had to come out and justify working the crime scene as not being a conflict of interest and turning it over to another group.
