Aren't the saddles available separately?

Nope. The way the saddle locks to the bridge would make it tricky to add to a traditional Tele or Strat bridge. There also might be height issues with aligning the rear intonation adjustment screw to the saddle.
There is a version (saddle kit) to retrofit a hard tail or vintage style vibrato per the Babicz site.. Just not the same one as Bruce is referring to.

I think locking it down is a plus though.
Wow I have never seen the saddle kit. Those saddles are so much more comfortable than traditional Fender saddles.
Between you and oinkus I'm gonna end up trying this on my tele.
I wonder if neck shimming is required.

I think I have a slick way of making a tapered shim with a chop saw if anyone's game. My laziness prevents me.

I think the first thing you will notice is the guitar is sonically louder unplugged. The acuraccy in string height and intonation is awesome. The comfort is a big plus.

I haven't had to shim any of mine, they pop right on with very little effort involved.
Status update?
I have been crushing it at work. Long hours but satisfying results. I have had no time and I currently have both Teles (tuners, bridge and wiring), the Strat (wiring) and the Paul (intonation) on the bench. I have to wait for my tech to get back from vacation (end of July) to do the LSR so I am in no hurry.
Man I'm waiting for more pics.
So far this is looking like a full set of pics is gonna be pure grade A++ porn.
