Tuned my Polaris/star (with the roughcast A5 JB in the bridge) down to D and jammed out some metal stuff on my rig this morning since I have the day off.
It sounded like Zeus himself having a bad day on the toilet after eating a god-sized feast at Taco bell.... in a good way.
Huge, thundering and punchy, the mids/highs sounded like greased lightning ripping through the atmosphere.
I don't know why SD ever decided to use a polished A5 in the JB, the roughcast sounds so much better in every possible way.
