older dudes seem to love red strats. Maybe because of the Dick Dale association. I dunno.

I still think it's ugly.

I am not the biggest fan of traditional fire engine red strats. A bit of a candy magenta on a superstrat works on my fusion.

I just have a soft spot for Soloist style guitars. Only have 1 tho.

LesStrat had a red pickguard. My #1 is a cherry burst.

I could see putting a decent adjustable bridge and a 36th Anniversary PAF in it. Also the swastika inlays would be great for when I open shows for Ted Nugent.
