The cool thing with analog synths is that you don't need to be able to play anything fancy to make them sound awesome. Just turn up the Resonance, tweak the Cutoff, and you got yourself a rave.
How much is it? I always wanted an Arp Avatar and by plugging my MidiFly into this I pretty much have one.

It looks like the street price will be about $1K. Beware - some asshole has them listed on ebay for $1200, but doesn't actually have any in stock.
Ouch too rich for my blood, for a synth. I will wait a couple of years, synths lose value quickly like computers. I think my ENsoniq SQ1 is worth about $100 now.
You don't want to hear my Ensoniq story , it was a long time ago in a land farfaraway.....

The SQ1 is a really great keyboard. One of the few from that era that has aftertouch, IIRC. Decent sounds, too.
