Just me and my dog enjoying the great outdoors this evening. Camping along the Canadian River in northern New Mexico. Roasting hotdogs and marshmellows and just relaxing.

Who else is down for some camping?
I haven't been camping since I was a child but I always enjoyed it.

It feels great to disconnect a bit for a while
I haven't been camping since the last forced excursion courtesy of Uncle Sam.
I fuckin' love camping. I haven't been camping in about 6 years now but I used to go every weekend with friends all summer long. I sold my tent and other camping supplies before I moved away from the States. I miss those days.
I love camping! Sadly I haven't been in about 10 years or so when we went down to Cape Hatteras, NC and camped near the beach for a weekend. Lately though my buddies and I have been talking about setting up a yearly camping trip or 2 to and sticking to the plan every year. We just want to get out in the woods and do man stuff and reconnect with nature. Cook meat, shoot guns, fish, hunt, whatever. Anything without nagging women around.
I mean, you're not THAT far from the mountains, Hareek.
My family used to go to a boy scout camp every summer. It was great - we'd sail small boats, shoot guns, swim, and just relax. It was awesome and I miss it.
I really don't enjoy it. The last time I went camping was 6 years ago when I stayed in a pop-up trailer while deer hunting. I have never been as cold as that and it reinforced my poor opinion of camping. The next year we stayed at a old fort with heat, plumbing and cooking facilities and it was a much more enjoyable experience.
That's not camping

Room service and housekeeping included? Do they serve you breakfast in bed? This sounds like a 5 star hotel... not camping!
