I'm not a shred player, so I almost passed on the chance to buy this.  But then my impulsive "why the fuck not?" nature got the better of me, and now I have this 1996(?) RG517 in my lap.

I actually can play faster on this neck, and I'm finding pinch harmonics everywhere.  Funny how a guitar can get inside your head so quickly...

It needs a setup/intonation, and is missing one of the mounting screws for the neck pickup.  Other than a few small dings here and there, it's in pretty nice condition.
