You underestimate the smallness and crapiness of the town in which I live. I will continue to explore the churches and bars though. That seems solid.

Are you referring to actually scoring the chicks, or your headboard when you find them?
For the latter, a knife or chisel works fine for the notches. Then again, that could work for the former, but the chicks will unleash blood curdling screams. You might want to use a ball gag before scoring them.
