My Christmas Eve feast, I had a coupon that was expiring at the end of the year for a free Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza. So yeah, a large thin crust pizza with Italian sausage.

Try the chicken bacon artichoke some time, it's their best IMO.

Papa John's Pizza.

Tomorrow we will have turkey breast and brisket.

The turkey is infused with butter.

The brisket is marinating in black pepper and black coffee.

I'm a big fan of marinating beef in some form of coffee- I've put fresh ground in a rub, and I've used it in liquid form in a marinade. Both were excellent.

Jumbo scallops, bone-in ribeye steaks, crab, and potatoes.

I made pizza bianca (plain pizza crust basically) with my standard recipe and cut it up for use with spinach dip and such. I didn't end up making the apple cake (didn't have enough time), but the paczki turned out amazing. Pics to come.

Tonight we're having roast turkey, leg of lamb, roasted rosemary potatoes, fresh rolls, and sides which I don't have the time to type out. Should be awesome.

FTR I don't even like coffee. It doesn't flavor the meat in the way you would expect. It does add to it, but it also tenderizes.

Exactly. That's my assessment as well.

A can of tuna with some ketchup. I hate holidays when no stores are open and I forget to shop... FML.

Edit: the paczki tasted like garbage the next day. Super stale and dense.
