In all my years going to Eagles games I only saw one guy run on the field. He jumped the wall and ran straight to the 50 yard line, spreading his mom's ashes as he ran (at least thats what the papers reported). Then he laid down on the logo at midfield, kissed it, and put his arms behind his back waiting to get cuffed.
Now in the parking lot is a different story. Maybe I'll bring a taser next season and you can bring your video camera...

Jesus Christ, another asshole just ran on the field... and it couldn't have been at a more disruptive time. 1-0, your starting pitcher is still in and ready to start the ninth, he's done his warmup pitches, sets for the first pitch, ready for the delivery, then play has to be stopped because of another d-bag. It was 1-1 shortly thereafter.

A 34-year-old man who ran on the field at a Phillies game to chants of "Tase him!" has been charged with marijuana possession, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and other counts.
Police say Thomas Betz, of Warminster, Pa., hopped over the left field fence at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and ran along the warning track in the top of the ninth inning Tuesday, one day after a teenager was Tasered in the outfield.
The crowd booed and some chanted "Tase him!" Betz was taken off the field without incident.
Betz's voicemail is full and he could not immediately be reached Wednesday.
In the wake of Monday's encounter, police are considering whether officers should get involved in on-field chases. Officers didn't run on the field Tuesday.
