You know the saying... "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!"

Thought sausage burgers were a southern thang.
The cooling sauce did nothing. It was so goddamn spicy. Delicious too but holy hell it was spicy. Might've overindulged on the chipotle.

I learned about sausage patties from a family friend who lived near niagara falls (canadian side)

There was fat leftover after cooking so we heated up burger buns in the skillet to soak up all the deliciousness.

And then topped the burgers with cheese and bacon. Also boston lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Solid.

Dude we gotta hang.

The kids are coming over for Sunday dinner.

Boneless Turkey breast that has been marinating in Moscato, kosher salt, cracked pepper and garlic
Sirloin Tips marinated in Veri Yaki sauce
Grilled Chicken
Homemade Mac and Cheese
Grilled summer squash and asparagus

I usually make my own teriyaki sauce but if you can find Veri Yaki I strongly suggest giving it a try.

Veri Yaki is good stuff! We used to buy it but my mom can't have most teriyaki products nowadays.

Dinner has been over for a while and I cant help opening the fridge and throwing a cold beef tip in my mouth. They are like beef candy.

Tonight's menu is a sorta classic french creamy seafood stew with baguette. The star of the show is this guy.

Also going in the pot is some baby cuttlefish, crab and smoked cod.

Some aromatics, potato, mushrooms, and dill also. SHIT i forgot to get wine.
