I'd been painting all afternoon [ lounge wall ] and by the time I finished and cleaned up I couldn't be stuffed getting a good meal together, hence the fast food.

Had some dried beans i needed to use, so tried my hand at making refried beans. Found some mexican cheese at costco so topped it with that.

Not like a restaurants (Not gonna use lard) but really good. Thinking about another batch tonight - this time with more garlic.

I'm a cumin snob - nothin' but whole seeds. And epazote

Yeah - used a mix of olive oil and butter.

I had grilled lamb chops for lunch. I'm thinking pizza from the local place for dinner.

Southern fried chicken, marinated in buttermilk for the last day, twice dredged and seasoned beautifully. Came out great.
