Nintendo Wii - Speng - 06-01-2008 That's insane that Nintendo still can't keep up with the demand for the Wii. Nintendo Wii - 3dR3 - 06-03-2008 hmm after seeing the hoola hoop game I might have to pick this up... Nintendo Wii - C-Notes - 06-05-2008 I've been looking for a couple of weeks for one and just got one on ebay, Buy It Now for $299. Not too bad seeing how it'll probably be as close to the MSRP of $250 as I'll get. Nintendo Wii - C-Notes - 06-18-2008 I finally got my Wii set up and running, now what games do I NEED to get for it. I know Mario Kart is in my sights but what else? My wife got the Sims Castaway game and my son got some kind of Ben-10 game which I have no clue as to what it is. Played the Lego Indiana Jones which was really cool and Kung Fu Panda which is fun but I don't see it standing any long term play. Super Mario Galaxy is a must own. That should be first on your list, regardless. Mario Kart is alright, but much better with multiplayer, so make sure you have extra wiimotes. Aside from that, after you've bought Galaxy, check these out: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Metroid Prime 3 Super Smash Bros Brawl Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 Resident Evil 4 Honorable Mention: Boom Blox - It's supposed to be a rather fun, interesting, and innovative game, developed in part by Stephen Spielberg. Don't know that much about it to be honest, but apparently it's getting disappointing sales, especially considering its one of the few good Wii games out there. Just keep on your toes and do your homework before buying games. The Wii is absolutely riddles with "shovelware", games that are rushed through production and not very good just to cash in on a popular franchise or gimmicky function of the Wii. Read reviews... http://www.metacritic.com is a good place to get a broad idea of what's good and what's not. Nintendo Wii - Hooch - 06-18-2008 Super Mario Galaxy used to be on constantly between my wife and son, now it's Mario Kart... which I play as well. Nintendo Wii - C-Notes - 06-18-2008 When I found out there was a Mario Kart for the Wii is when I decided I needed to get one, good times with that game on the Super Nintendo. I've heard that Galaxy was a great game, will have to pick than one up. I bought that and the Super Nintendo while I was living in the dorm at college... to this day I have no idea where the hell I got the money to buy the SNES. Anyways, we had a line down the hallway of people wanting to play Kart. It was right before finals... I think I was responsible for half my dorm failing that semester.
