NEW YORK - After years of delay, Guns N' Roses is finally releasing "Chinese Democracy."
Geffen Records has announced that the band's eagerly awaited album will be released Nov. 23 at Best Buy stores and the retail chain's Web site.
"Chinese Democracy" is the first album of new Guns N' Roses material since 1991's "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II."
The title track from the upcoming album was available to download by U.S. radio outlets on Wednesday. Although some album tracks leaked this summer, this is the first authorized new music from the rock band in nine years.
The band, fronted by Axl Rose, has sold 90 million albums and made a splash in the '80s with the hits "Sweet Child o' Mine," "Paradise City" and "Welcome to the Jungle."
Guns Nââ¬â¢ Roses was last on Billboardââ¬â¢s airplay-based Mainstream Rock chart in 1999 with ââ¬ÅOh My God,ââ¬Â its contribution to the soundtrack for the Arnold Schwarzenegger film ââ¬ÅEnd of Days.ââ¬Â The song peaked at No. 26. Prior to that, Guns hadnââ¬â¢t appeared on the tally since 1994, when its cover of ââ¬ÅSympathy for the Devilââ¬Â from the ââ¬ÅInterview With a Vampireââ¬Â soundtrack reached No. 10.
Their 14-track album includes the song "If The World," which is part of the soundtrack to the recent film "Body of Lies." The band recently completed a world tour.

Except they all hate each other. Hell, all this is Axl Rose's solo career. He hijacked the name from the rest of the band. We kind of all agreed that the new Queen album isn't Queen without Freddie. This is just one of the original 5 members. Velvet Revolver had more GnR members.

I just thought they might want to get some fast cash. Axl has to pay for all the bad plastic surgery somehow...I don't think Steven Adler is doing anything these days beside that Dr. Drew rehab show, I don't know if he's even capable of playing the drums anymore.
