The music world was In Bloom-in' shock last night after hearing that the ashes of grunge god KURT COBAIN have been PINCHED!
I can also reveal that the wife of the NIRVANA legend, COURTNEY LOVE, is said to be "suicidal" after finding Kurt's remains missing from her Hollywood home.
She had kept the singer's ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair.
But a couple of weeks ago, she was horrified to discover them gone, along with thousands of pounds worth of clothes and jewellery.
Courtney said: "I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me.
"I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal.
"If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do." The sad news will sicken the millions of Cobain and Nirvana fans worldwide.
Kurt, DAVE GROHL and KRIST NOVOSELIC mesmerised the music world in the 90s with hits like In Bloom and Smells Like Teen Spirit.
The band has sold more than 62 million albums worldwide, with classic album Nevermind selling more than ten million copies aloneââ¬âit's still regarded by critics as one of the greatest albums ever made.
But in 1994, tragedy struck when Kurt killed himself with a shotgun while high on heroin. Some of his ashes were scattered in a Buddhist temple in New York, others were scattered in the Wishkah River near his home in Washington State, and the rest remained with Courtney...until recently, that is.
She said: "They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me.

LAKEHURST, N.J. ââ¬â Police have heard many excuses from suspected drunk drivers over the years.
But police say what they heard from a Toms River man is one for the books: He told them he was driving around until he was sober enough to go home, fearing his mother would know he was drunk.
But before he could make it home Monday, police say 36-year-old Edward Defreitas crashed into an ambulance, causing it to overturn in the Route 70 circle in Lakehurst.
Defreitas is being held in the Ocean County Jail on numerous charges, including aggravated assault, drunk driving and drug offenses.
Authorities said the injuries to two paramedics in the ambulance were not life-threatening.

Coral Springs Police Department Was Put On Alert
Among The Alleged Threats He Stated He'd Be The Next Bin Laden
CORAL SPRINGS (CBS4) ââ¬â¢ Fire and police stations throughout the town of Coral Springs were put on alert with extra security after finding threats to kill officers a MySpace webpage.
The page shows 25-year-old Jean C.Vargas pointing a 357 magnum, and saying, "IMA go 2 a shooting spree to da CSPD," what police say translates to him going on a shooting spree at the Coral Springs Police Department.
After deeming the threats credible, heavily armed officers were stationed at police headquarters and fire stations throughout the city as a precaution.
Wednesday afternoon police arrested Vargas in Margate, and charged him with Making a Written Threat to Cause Bodily Harm.
Yolanda Medina found out about the news of her son being arrested, and was crying when CBS4's Tiffani Helberg caught up with her.
"Just now I was calling," Medina said as she sobbed.
She said she thought Jean was at the library.
Medina says her son had been under psychological treatment in the past.
"He had a psychologist who would come to the house," said Medina, "but after that we moved and I didn't know anything else."
"He was playing around, everything was a joke man," said Joe Vargas, Jean's brother. "He was playing around, he was playing around, this wasn't serious."
Police say Jean Vargas is cooperating with their investigation and has told them where they can find the gun in the picture. Vargas is being held at the main jail in Broward County.

Suspected Fake Gynecologist Arrested
A married businessman was arrested for pretending to be a gynecologist and giving exams to young women at a Park Avenue building. Sources tell the Daily News that Zalman Silber of Rockland County was charged with "third-degree sexual abuse and unauthorized practice and professions for impersonating a doctor."
Two victims are mentioned in the charges, but the "exams" may have started in 2003, so the authorities are looking for any other victims. One of Silber's defense lawyer says her client is innocent, noting two women did not pick him out of a lineup. His other lawyer is Kenneth Gribretz, who resigned from the Rockland County DA's office after pleading guilty to misdemeanors like income tax evasion in 1995 (his mistress revealed salacious details to the U.S. Attorney's office).
Prosecutors says Silber, who gained notoriety as the creator of Skyride (an Empire State Building ride which offers people an simulated flight in NYC), used a third party to bring "patients" to him. A few years ago, a man in Texas was arrested for pretending to be a gynecologist--he advertised his services ("vaginal irrigation") in a newspaper and ran his scam in a storage facility.
