A Pennsylvania woman contemplating a gender change alleges that she was fired after wearing a prosthetic penis to her job, according to a civil rights lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court.
Pauline Davis, 45, charges that she was ââ¬Åunfairly terminatedââ¬Â from her position as a ââ¬Åpacker/line inspectorââ¬Â at the J&J Snack Foods production plant. She contends that the company subjected her to ââ¬Ådisparate and discriminatory treatment for being a female, and for being a female who identified with the male gender.ââ¬Â
According to her complaint, Davis ââ¬Åadvised certain co-workers that she would be wearing the prosthetic device, and this information was reported to management.ââ¬Â After learning that Davis was packing a fake penis, J&J ââ¬Åretaliated against her and discriminated against her in that she was illegally terminated,ââ¬Â the lawsuit notes.

Naked Man Walks into Walmart, Steals Socks

A man walked into a Philadelphia-area store and put on a pair of stolen socks
A man was arrested after he was seen walking around an Exton, Pa., Walmart wearing nothing but socks. It was later discovered that the only apparel the man had on was stolen from the store, police say.
Employees at Walmart called police at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, saying that there was a naked man walking around the store, authorities say.
When police arrived they found 32-year-old Verdon Lamont Taylor in the store wearing only socks, police say. When Taylor would not comply with officers, the 6-feet, 4-inch tall, 300-pound man was tasered and taken into custody. Taylor proceeded to spit in an officerââ¬â¢s face, police say.
Upon viewing surveillance video, police learned that Taylor walked into the store completely naked and walked straight to the customer service counter, stole a pair of socks there and put them on his feet.
The video also shows shoppers avoiding Taylor as he proceeded to walk through the store.

An allegedly drunk driver steered his car onto the runways of Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday morning, startling onlookers and forcing the airport to close for about 30 minutes.
Although he didnââ¬â¢t make it onto any runways that were in use, Kenneth Mazik forced several flights to be diverted while police chased down his Jeep Grand Cherokee, Philadelphia police said.
Mazik, 24, allegedly drove through a runway gate fence shortly after 11 a.m. and led police officers and emergency workers on a brief chase.
Police said Mazik drove up the length of one runway, crossed to a parallel runway and drove back before he was arrested.

Vicki Jo Mills, 33, is accused of putting Visine in the drinking water of Thurman Nesbitt, 45, on up to a dozen occasions since June 2009, according to The Associated Press.
Nesbittââ¬â¢s doctor treated him for years for nausea, blood pressure problems and breathing trouble, according to Pennsylvania state police.
The doctor contacted authorities in June after tetrahydrozoline, a chemical found in the optical solution that can cause irregular heartbeat or chest pain, showed up in Nesbittââ¬â¢s blood tests.
ââ¬ÅShe never meant to kill him, [she] only wanted to make him pay more attention to her,ââ¬Â police say Mills told them.
