Don't get me started. That guy should be in jail for about a thousand different offenses. At some point, I realized that all my rage at Bush was actually misdirected, seeing as Dubya was nothing more than Cheney's sock puppet.
Now I just don't give three shits about politics. I'm much happier when I'm apathetic.

TBH, I feel bad for the folks who hate the current president so much. I remember how stressful it was for me when I spent so much time and energy hating the guy "in charge." After we survived the last guy, I realized it couldn't possibly matter that much.
When I was much younger, my mom vowed that if ______ was elected, we were moving to Canada. He was. We didn't. We survived.
I'm not defending anyone or saying you don't have stuff to get riled up about, but it's not healthy to internalize all that shit.

I worry more about the people with little to no power that abuse their influence than the people that have and/or abuse their held power.

All of our elected officials are scum. They don't care about you, they care about profit. That's why they lie, cheat, and steal to get elected. There are maybe 2 or 3 exceptions that I can think of in The House but everyone else has an agenda that only benefits their wallet.

I'll extend that to say I don't understand hatred for people you've never met. That's an awful lot of negative energy expended for someone who will never even know it.
I'll also add that disapproval and disagreement do not equate to hatred.
And just because you hated the last guy does not mean that my disapproval of the current guy is rooted in hatred.
