Suhr V54 is your ticket -
Got a set in a 50s Reissue CS Strat for several years now - The venerable V54 won out over a dozen or so various sets in that guitar.
Today, put a V54 set into an Ash/Ebony CS Strat, this one with box stock controls. Its sick sounding (for a Strat). Bright, sweet, strong, and in your face.. Might be even better than the 50s reissue.
V60LP is my favorite in Alder/Rosewood guitars.
