I don't think anyone was talking about Tank or Pacman causing trouble, just the fact that the scum of the earth can always find a place on that roster (or in the fanbase) and that aggrivates everone else. Mike Vick will be the Cowboys QB in a few years. Pacman would not have been allowed to practice if he went to any one of 30 other teams... the Patriots being the other team he'd get permission to practice for. NFL Talk - 2008 - Securb - 06-05-2008 "A former Drug Enforcement Administration supervisor said yesterday that a New England Patriots starting lineman who has been fingered as a DEA informant could be in danger depending on his level of covert activity. ââ¬ÅAnytime you reveal publicly someoneââ¬â¢s been an informant you expose him to danger,ââ¬Â said Michael Levine, a former inspector of DEA Field Operations who once arrested two agents on charges of outing an informant. ââ¬ÅThe danger could be from anyone heââ¬â¢s targetted.ââ¬Â" NFL Talk - 2008 - EaglesSuck - 06-05-2008 Hooch Wrote:I don't think anyone was talking about Tank or Pacman causing trouble, just the fact that the scum of the earth can always find a place on that roster (or in the fanbase) and that aggrivates everone else. They are aggravated because their owners don't take risks or spend money to try to win. Jones has confidence in his organization that they can help these guys clean up their act & also they can get something in return for the risk the the team takes. The bottom line is this is a business and there are some teams out there that take chances to try to win. Don't give me that bullshit the Cowboys are favored by the league over other teams. If anything it's the other way around. I've heard you say the same thing about the Pats, the Giants and others. They all play by the same rules. If the NFL wants these type of guys out of the league then they should ban them for life and that would be the end of it. But they don't so blame the league not the teams.
