NFL Talk - 2008 - bobbyt2 - 10-09-2008 :eek:just saw a bit of Jerry Jones' press conference. He was stuttering & stammering while trying to say the right thing. He really is making himself, & his leadership look like fools. He gave PacMan permission to go to the event, & they were just " JIVIN' around "
NFL Talk - 2008 - Prog - 10-09-2008 These days, I don't root for anyone. I grew up a Bears fan. But, I live in Dallas, so I hear all the Cowboys news. I just make my observations. He gave PacMan permission to go to the event, & they were just " JIVIN' around " Jones always stutters & stammers even when things are good. He comes off looking like a fool because he is a "good ol boy". But sometimes he is a fool indeed. But in his defense he's made some positive moves in his time as well. Pacman can't be depended on. The sooner he realizes that the better off they will be. Bobby, you think you could make one post w/o using smiley faces? NFL Talk - 2008 - bobbyt2 - 10-10-2008 Bobby, you think you could make one post w/o using smiley faces?[/quote] I can try...........................but it is hard not to;) Jones has done some good things, like hire Coach Bill to rebuild the team. He has some Steinbrenner like qualities & he just wants to win. (can't fault him there) , but Wade is his puppet (similar to Campo) it feels like the players don't respect him. NFL Talk - 2008 - EaglesSuck - 10-10-2008 oh he were go with your manlove for Coach Bill. The problem with Dallas is their D. Strict Coach Bill couldn't fix it and laid back Wade hasn't fixed it either. I'm not a big fan of the 3-4. Perhaps some of the players on that side of the ball just aren't very good. Barbi Carpenter (a 1st round Bill pick) comes to mind. NFL Talk - 2008 - Speng - 10-12-2008 The best part of the Packers game today was their celebrations after their two interceptions. Instead of jumping around, bumping asses and acting like a bunch of jack asses, they all politely walked over to the guy who made the play and they shook hands and politely nodded at one another...as if to say,"Nice play ole chap". I don't know, I thought it was funny. NFL Talk - 2008 - Prog - 10-12-2008 I watched the end of the Bears-Falcons and Cowboys-Cardinals games. Bears and Falcons was exciting. Boys and Birds was dead boring with all the flippin reviews. NFL Talk - 2008 - EaglesSuck - 10-13-2008 I hate to say this but it looks like the Giants might run away with this whole thing. I know they haven't played anybody good but at least they are putting away inferior opponents. I'm not ready to jump ship on Dallas just yet but I'm getting close. I have NO clue what happened to their O-line? They looked great the first couple of games but yesterday they couldn't block anyone. It was like a jail break to the QB on every play. So their biggest strength has become one of their biggest weaknesses. Doesn't help that each week it's the opposing team's Super Bowl. The clock on Wade is running out and things are going to get pretty ugly real soon. NFL Talk - 2008 - Hooch - 10-13-2008 The league sucks NFL Talk - 2008 - EaglesSuck - 10-13-2008 the season is officially over in Dallas if this is true http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3640890 |
