Tremolo Stabilizer - Securb - 04-17-2015

I put a Tremolo Stabilizer on the B. C. Rich. The one thing I don't like about the Floyd is if I rest my hand on the bridge it knocks the chord out of tune. No wore wobbling chords now with the Tremolo Stabilizer. The Tremolo Stabilizer also makes it feel more like a Kahler which I am used to. I am loving it so far.

Not a pic of my guitar.

The trem block or stop does just that. You can not pull up anymore. With the stabilizer you dont get the "floating" action so when you rest your hand on the trem it doesn't move. If you need to pull up the piston relaxes and you can pull notes up. I like the feel a lot more.

I was expecting a whale tail spoiler.

RE: Tremolo Stabilizer - Oinkus - 04-18-2015

If I can't yank on my bar like I am having an epileptic seizure then I'm just not having a good time. I have a couple hipshot tremsetters and only ever installed 1 but eventually removed it. I lay my hand right on the strings at the saddle 100% of the time , guess it is something you get used to or adapt to eventually.
