Shinobi fretwire - kinnikuman - 06-12-2015 Deciding on the fretwire today. Sorry theres no pictures.......i could take one of the back but.............effort. I have some med/jumbo ss fretwire here but i am considering going all out and using that EVO stuff. Thoughts? RE: Shinobi fretwire - Big Flannel - 06-12-2015 The Shinobi is NOT a restrained design. If there's an option to "go all out" take it. RE: Shinobi fretwire - Agileguy - 06-12-2015 D'avanzo guitars exclusively use Jescar fretwire. I love the frets on my guitar. I've heard good things about the EVO line, so go for it. RE: Shinobi fretwire - Snake Aces - 06-12-2015 I don't know much about fretwire quality. I think my Warmoth with SS frets has Jescar. That's good stuff. I don't know anything about EVO though. RE: Shinobi fretwire - lreese - 06-12-2015 I'd second considering SS. If you're going all out, I think that's the best. I'm OK with Evo - My Martin is fretted with it. RE: Shinobi fretwire - Oinkus - 06-13-2015 SS FTW 100% of the time. Lasts forever , that gold EVO stuff is pretty soft from what I have researched. RE: Shinobi fretwire - kinnikuman - 06-13-2015 Guitar builds are great right up to the frets. everything is nice to carve and comes away with ease then all of a sudden BAMeO steel mother fuckers. rasp rasp rasp file file file. hammer hammer,,,,,,, what hammer comes first. . |
