This seems interesting to me but my favorite vegan bacon is just slicing some eggplants super thin, marinating them in some ume plum vinegar for an hour and then dehydrating it until it's crispy. It's good shit. I haven't tried this new seaweed that has taken the vegan world by storm though.

I'll stick to real bacon, personally.
Savemart has economy bacon on sale all the time in the town where my family does all the shopping.
Funny enough, the "economy" bacon is way better than the expensive corporate stuff that you can buy.
My dad bought 10 pounds of it the other day when it was really cheap and put most of it in the freezer.
