Those things are put together funny, neck is bolted on the inside.Would imagine the tension is pretty tough on the neck too. Should be vastly improved after you get it good and humidified. It might turn into a nice player if you are lucky.

Yeah, they are built kind of funny. I've never seen bracing quite like what this one has.
The fretboard is funny too. It starts to taper down after about the 15th fret, and it's not the body caving in, it's the fretboard.
I'm looking forward to getting this thing playing. They are supposed to sound really good.
