I think the manager is looking for a spotlight for his new product. I don't think it has to be a Ritchie or Steve situation it would be great to see Blackmore and Morse on the stage together at the same time. Multiple singers could also take the stage at the same time trading verses. I think this has little to do with the HOF and everything to do with the manager.
