Gaussmeter of any use?

Only if you're at Ace's place!

:monkey:

Ok... Maybe, but a simple AM radio would be as good/better.

But I would start by ruling things out. If you unplug something and the noise stops, you've found the culprit. You can even shut off the breakers at your electrical panel to locate the source of noise.

Suspects are all around you this time of year: Air conditioners, refrigerators, TVs, computers, routers, light fixtures, sex toys, dog fences, pool filters, wall warts, security cameras...

That is fucking ridiculous even for a research lab.

I think a single Axe-fx II would cover much of that - not exactly, but close enough. Ok, Two.

You are inferior to Tom.

RE: Rack Upgrades. - Oinkus - 06-22-2016

Yeah he also designed and built that stuff himself still uses the original prototypes in that rig from the 70s.

Well - the tray is partially wired.

The compressor will have to run on a separate supply until I get some cables.

Now to the rack.

And Murphy rears its ugly head -

Everything works A-OK... Problem is the drawer is laid out backwards, but that will only waste a little Velcro and maybe half an hour.
