This would have been back in the days when Schecter only offered guitar hardware, bodies and necks. The original Schecter single coils had the option to coil tap to approximately fifty percent DC resistance. Mark Knopfler had a phase of using Schecter Stratocasters that featured Monstertone single coils, governed with three on/off/on mini toggles, master volume and master tone controls. RE: Hmm - Wonder if These are any Good? - lreese - 08-24-2016 Yeah - the 50% difference seems typical, but I was referring to the 3.0K tapped spec. The originals per RB's ex-tech were in the 6's. Not seeing any reviews, I'd opt for Andersons sight unseen. That being said Blackmore also used Gold Laces. Should track down that crazy guy that has 20 of them he bought as an investment.
