Simpsons Cast Seals Deal With Fox
The Simpsons voice actors have sealed a four-year deal that hands them more money and solidifies the animated hit's 20th season.
Production on the show has been delayed for several months as voice actors and 20th Century Fox TV hammered out a deal. New pact bumps the stars' salaries up to about $400,000 an episode; they previously made somewhere in the mid-$300,000 range. The deal, firmed up over the weekend, means most of the key cast members will be back to work and attending the show's first table read of the season this morning.
Harry Shearer is still working out elements of his deal, but a firm pact is expected shortly. As part of his deal, Castellaneta has been named consulting producer on the series. He'll now serve as a writer in addition to continuing as a voice performer.

For those Simpson fans out there, wow what a color way what could you rock with these shoes? Jeans and a white top perhaps? Here comes Securb to get his bash on, haha.

While the show is still funny, it definitely lost its edge after the tenth season. Still, I am glad to hear that the show is going to make the 20th season!
Our youngest (13) is discovering The Simpsons. We own seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 on DVD. She had pretty well worked her way through them, so at her insistence we just bought seasons 1, 7 and 8 and watched them over the past month. I saw these episodes on TV when they first came out, in endless reruns, on home videotapes made by our kids, and now on DVD. You know a series is good when you can watch an episode for the hundredth time and not grow tired of it. The writing still snaps.
Ooops, I crapped my pants

Amen to that! I have to agree with season 1-10 and falling off there after but I still watch religiously and although not as funny as in its hay day it still has it's moments and is a hell of a lot better than half the crap on t.v. today.

I don't think I've watched the Simpsons in at least 5 years, including syndication.
Will it blend? That is the question.
