Anderson Cooper Punched In The Head
#1
Anderson Cooper and his crew were attacked by supporters of Hosni Mubarak in Cairo on Wednesday. CNN's Steve Brusk tweeted that Cooper was punched in the head ten times.

The incident came as pro-Mubarak supporters attacked protesters calling for the Egyptian president to step down. Speaking on "American Morning" after the attack, Cooper said that he and his crew had been trying to go to a neutral zone between the two groups.

Can we send Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh there next.

A group of angry Egyptian men carjacked an ABC News crew and threatened to behead them today in the latest and most menacing attack on foreign reporters trying to cover the anti-government uprising

Producer Brian Hartman, cameraman Akram Abi-hanna and two other ABC News employees were surrounded on a crowded road that leads from Cairo's airport to the city's downtown area.

We should send Gator over there to do some "TMR On Location" reports. We can dress him like Cleopatra so the Egyptians will take to him

I'll take a pass on that one. I'll just watch CNN from my living room like everyone else.

Great idea send a Jew into a crowd of rioting Muslims with weapons. When do you want me to cover that Klan picnic and BBQ.

I told a friend I would meet him at a bar in Cambridge one afternoon. Little did I know the New England Women's Rugby Union was having their yearly wrap party. I have never been more scared in my life. This was pre cellphone so I couldn't call my buddy to meet me elsewhere. Little to say I was not welcome there. These broads made it clear they didnt want me there.

[INDENT]On Friday February 11, the day Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a 60 MINUTES story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.

In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers.

She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.
There will be no further comment from CBS News and Correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.
