Here's what I'm trying to do: I want to play all my ripped movies from external usb hard drive on my 360. The drive in question is 1TB. What I've read online is that the 360 will let you do this, but not save any games or xbox content to the drive (which I would be fine with). Is this true?
EDIT: Looks like it is indeed true.

It should providing all the software lines up and you use the USB in the front.
