So some of you may remember how, upon receiving my wonderful D'avanzo guitar, I discovered it was damaged in shipping by the wonderful people at Fedex. Well apparently as part of their claim process, one must send the item in question back to Fedex so they can assess the damage and determine if they're going to pay out.
Fun fact - despite the terrible damage on the side of the guitar, there was no damage to the box. It was likely just dropped very hard on its side onto the floor, which of course would do little to no damage to the box. Another fun fact - my guitar was shipped in an ATA rated case. Fuck you too, Gator.
Anyway, because there was no damage to the box, Fedex summarily denied my claim. They then decided to ship the guitar all the way back to Mike in New York, and during transit, they fucked up AGAIN. (I would embed the image but it's fucking gigantic.
Now there's nothing I can do because apparently Mike is the only one that they'll let file a claim or do anything, really. This just blows.
YOU FUCKING SUCK HAIRY BALLS FEDEX.
