What's for dinner

I'm going to throw some chicken thighs and asparagus on the charcoal grill, I've got some fresh rosemary that's going on the chicken.

It's my day off today, so I get to play a little. I have a couple duck breasts that are sitting in olive oil, garlic, rosemary and a little fleur de sel. Those will get grilled up, sliced nice and thin and then placed over a salad of mixed greens, red onions,pine nuts, sundried tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese and then topping it all off with an orange basil vinaigrette.

To drink? I have a bottle of 2006 late harvest Gewurztraminer from Three Rivers Winery that will go well with it.

I just grilled a burger with swiss and cracked a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Doing Penne Pasta With Lamb Sausage and Portobello Mushrooms for my dinner special tonight though.

Sirloin Tip Roast rubbed with paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, onion w/ Au ju
Sautéed onion and mushrooms
Brown sugar glazed baby carrots
Brussels sprouts with sharp cheddar cheese sauce
Homemade garlic mash potatoes
Fresh baked Italian bread
Mixed berry short cake with hand whipped cream

Having a cup of decaf and hitting the sofa.
