What's for dinner
Spent pretty much all evening making Christmas goodies, kinda put off dinner until now, right before I go to bed. Dumb I know. I just hate going to bed hungry.

Eating a ham and cheese sammich with the red jalapeno/balsamic jam I made. Holy fuck is it good. sweet, spicy, deep, and complex, with a distinct but not cloying jalapeno taste.

Chicken fried steak is just plain easy to to make , no clue why you haven't had a good one ? The whole point of it is taking a crappy piece of meat and making it edible , if you have some skill and technique you can make it wonderful. Go south on a road trip through Alabama try a few diners you will get a good one.

I seared 2 lamb rib chops in my trusty cast iron pan for lunch today. Insanely delicious. Salt, pepper, oregano, garlic, and olive oil. Simple and amazing.

Made Jambalaya.

With chicken, chorizo, smoked/roasted ham, and shrimp.

Best Jambalaya I've made yet.

I made pan pizza today. So delicious. I made the sauce with tomatoes from the garden.

I went out with some friends from work for beer and to watch the game (Montreal Canadiens vs. Ottawa Senators). The Greek bar we were at was having their annual Christmas party and their Greek hospitality required them to serve a range of delicious traditional Greek foods buffet style, FOR FREE. So we drank our faces off and ate amazing food. Charcoal grilled chicken and pork souvlaki, roast pork, lamb stew, amazing dolmada, spanakopita, tiropita, grilled sausages, cured meats cheeses and breads and all sorts of other yumminess.

Damn that was a good way to end the day.

That sounds amazing.

Today I'm making bread for Christmas Day.

Wednesday I'm making a huge batch of Paczki for everybody to take home on Vigalia (Polish Christmas Eve), and polish apple cake for that evening.

My aunt is 100% legit Polish so she makes fresh pierogi's every Vigalia and we all feast like Polish kings.

I surprised her a few years back when I first made the apple cake and now it's a tradition.
