Pretty brain racking bit of work but it came out OK so far , need to find out a way to remove stress that doesn't involve dying.

Been rode hard and put up wet now. Going to do the HV thing to ground and see what it sounds like when it is a little darker. No tone control for the bridge pup of course standard Strat stuff. Just did a quick eyeball setup on the action and beat the shit out of it for 15 or 20 min doing the intro to sweet jane (C-Bb lather rinse repeat Ditto X2 is great thing) Pretty bright but it is a Strat and the Fluence pups jump right out and tell you that you need to practice , leave you nothing to hide behind(Thanks for nothing Frank geez cut me a break) Haven't played an electric guitar in 2 months my hands just hurt and I have no chops whatsoever but pretty damn stupid stuff trying to do a complete build in a few hurried minutes.

My Fluence set is out of the guitar right now - waiting for transfer to another...
My thought on the HV thing - I'd like a in between. The HV to ground sounds a little dark to me. Discoconnected, a little too bright. Was thinking about sticking a 4 or 5K resistor on the blue wire, better yet a pot.

I have a short somewhere but yeah that sounds like a good plan , get it where you want it exactly. No idea WTH I did to screw it up now.

They are unforgiving Brandon , there is nowhere to hide. Just crisp and clear sounding the word would be Clarity. There seems to be some issues with the prewired pickguard because the push/pull does zero. Had to hack the pickgaurd some to get it under the 22 fret neck , forced it at first but if you have to remove it even once it should fit correctly. For a few hours of insane work it is pretty nice so far , ten million times better then it was originally as the stock Squier CV POS. Weird as hell playing a Strat that doesn't have 24 frets after 20 some odd years, so much better with that 22nd too can get those E's and F's that were almost impossible to get with 21. Lining up the neck and installing the inserts was pretty tough and stressful but it turned out perfect , zero room for error. Had the other Tusq XL string tree leftover from the Tele so that was just nice.Right in the vicinity of 1200 bucks finished not counting the free labor , can't add that is a guesstimate. Get the Master Luthier over here to tell me what I did wrong one of these days. Still needs some tweaking and trouble shooting. They say ignorance is bliss and I am damn happy.
