NFL Talk - 2008
Prog Wrote:Don't let bad teams stop you. Is there anyone in the NFC that seems to be a Super Bowl lock?

after last night, my money is the Giants with them having home field. As long as Jacobs is healthy too.

Prog Wrote:So, we going to have a week of EaglesSuck versus Hooch since this game matters, despite Dallas and Phillys efforts?

Probably not. Both teams have been so dissapointing this season I think we both are more angry at our own teams than the opposing one.

As a final "fuck you" to the season I'm gonna break all the rules ans whip up the brat and egg anyway. Fuck everybody!

Its funny how we were talking about either Dallas/Philly or Jets/Phins being the flex game and it turns out to be Chargers/Broncos.

The Pats fans are absolutlly bullshit that the Jets/Dolphins got moved to 4:15 PM

Turns out Chad Pennington and Brett Favre won’t be meeting in prime time.
The Jets’ latest shocking loss - 13-3 at Seattle - ruined a potential showdown for the AFC East between Pennington, savior of the moribund Dolphins, and the quarterback who replaced him in New York, Favre.
Instead, NBC has decided to show Denver’s visit to San Diego, with the AFC West title on the line.

But CBS still has the option to move the Dolphins-Jets game at The Meadowlands to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, which could create a potentially favorable situation for Miami.

If New England takes care of business and win at Buffalo, the Jets, losers of three of four games, could enter the game eliminated from the playoff race. That could be a big break for the Dolphins because the Jets might have nothing at stake, other than pride.

But the way Brett Favre is playing, it might not matter. Favre, who was named to the Pro Bowl last week, has one TD pass and six picks in the past four games.
Meanwhile, Chad Pennington, who was passed over in Favre’s favor for the Pro Bowl, has six touchdowns and one pick in the past three games.

I guess the same could be said about the Eagles/Cowboy game being moved to 4pm. But the Eagles won't lay down because they hate Dallas. The Jets won't lay down either, they just suck.

Although the brat and egg would make a great projectile sammich because of the splatter it would make with the runny egg when hitting it's target, anyone that throws one that comes off of my grill will be eating hot coals shortly thereafter.

this is it:

top of kaiser roll
gently placed fried egg
bratwurst split longways in two pieces
bottom of kaiser roll

then you squeeze down the roll, break the yolk and let it run all over the place just prior to taking a bite. that's it. Some guys have put cheese on it, but the brat and egg alone should do the trick in clogging your arteries.
