nice upset pick Hooch. I'm sure you are feeling good this morning. Was this win more about the Eagles getting ready to make a run or about the Giants wheels coming off w/o Plaxico? I'm not going there though because I'll start to sound like Securb talking about the Pats every year. :rolleyes:

From a team standpoint, I don't think many of the Giants liked Plaxico anyway so I don't think it affected the locker room much at all. Plaxico flat out owns the Eagles though, I am happy that fucker is probably not playing for them anymore. What it allowed the Eagles to do yesterday is not roll a safety out to help cover him and they threw five in the box for most of the game. That and the wind rattled Eli early and he never snapped out of it. However, Antonio Pierce blew a few defensive assignments. The week probably affected his game. As for the Eagles, this is the healthiest Westbrook has been all year and they can use him to his potential again. Should be interesting. Hooch Wrote:It was kind of both. Eli hit guys in the numbers most of the day, but they dropped at least 4 balls. :shifty: |
