Well, what say you? You can see it proven with your own eyes. The trick is to leave the standby switch on, and turn flip the power off.

Cap discharge method. It looks right.

I like whacking a screwdriver across the positive and negative and making big sparking cracks and burning bits out of the screwdriver...
That's neat and easy that process in the video. Don't forget to strum your guitar.

It seems to be working on a Peavy Windsor. I end up with about 4v on the big electrolytics. Only takes about 3-4 seconds.

GV, I feel like a retarted tomato now. It took me until just now to get it. Your green and purple lines above have cleared my confusion with these preamp tube setups.
Hah! Duel triode. I'm a fucking idiot! There are 2 stages in each one, not 1 like multiple transistor stages. With it all split up in the picture I see it. It really isn't much different from the multiple transistor gain stages I'm used to in pedals. Hell, it is the same thing now that I see it. We are on the same page now with that mod. I may be able to handle it in my own. I'm just going to drop the gain myself to taste, and play with the voicing. If you were a girl, you'd be getting some tounge right now, GV.

Yeah, I see it. Compare it to the mod and it looks right.
I guess I need to write down a components list of the preamp and power amp for the full mod. See how much of it I have and order what I need. That is funny to see, though. The Windsor really isn't all that far from a 2204.
