Dude, I can't believe I missed this article until now. These new GPUs sound awesome but I'm taking all of this with a grain of salt. No one says anything about power requirements or thermal/cooling. Am I gonna need dual 1,000watt power supplies to run the thing? I currently have an 8800GT Overclocked Edition graphics card with PureVideo HD tech and the thing rocks. If you ask me, they can't make video encoding/decoding fast enough. I just burned a bunch of porn videos to a dual layer DVD for TV play and it took fucking forever and that's with a Core 2 Quad running at 3Ghz just like they mention in the article. ALSO, Intel is getting back in the discrete graphics business and supposedly has some ground breaking GPU up their sleeve too.
