The Packers released a statement earlier confirming that back in March, after he retired, Favre contacted them at the owners meeting saying he wanted to come back. The Packers chartered a plane to Mississippi to meet with him and to get something down on paper....what happened when they get there, he changed his mind and wanted to stay retired.
