This is a problem I have with the Packers in this whole thing. Favre was "retired" and GB was moving on with Rodgers. You don't get anything for a retired player. But, now that he wants to play, Thompson doesn't want to just give him away. You have to stay consistent. I think you either keep him (even if it is just to fuck with him) or you let him go because you have truly moved on.

I think the Packers were looking better in the early days of this, but this typical corporate greed attitude is going to swing things towards Favre.
Will it blend? That is the question.
