Paul Pierce was handcuffed after he became uncooperative during an early-morning traffic stop in Las Vegas on Monday.
Pierce, the MVP in the 2008 NBA Finals, was stopped for driving erratically on the Strip around 3 A.M. The cuffs were on for only about 15 minutes after Pierce "rapidly calmed down," Bill Cassell, spokesman for the Metro Police Department, said. "Someone is a little agitated, and when they're placed in handcuffs, they rethink things." Pierce blew below a .08 BAC, and was not arrested or charged with a traffic infraction.
