After some aggravation and headaches I finally got my 2,000GB external RAID0 hard drive setup and working. As you may have seen in a previous post, I had bought an external HDD enclosure that holds two drives and you can set them up in something called a RAID array which makes them work like one giant drive and even makes them a little faster. Getting the hardware together was easy enough despite the terrible instructions in the manual. Thanks to some research online, I found out how to REALLY do it. I had trouble getting Windows to treat it properly as ONE giant drive instead of two drives but finally got it straight. Unfortunately, by the time you format the drives and crap it actually only ends up being 1.81TB. But now I've got all the room in the world to backup all of my family photos, videos and documents PLUS store and hide my massive porn collection. HOORAY! Check it out...

A long time ago my daddy said, "Son, always cut away from yourself with a knife, treat every firearm as though it's loaded and never update your BIOS during a lightning storm".
