Processor 2 GHz Intel Core i5
RAM 8 GB DDR3
Memory Speed 1600 MHz
Hard Drive 1000 GB SATA
Graphics Coprocessor Custom Nvidia Maxwell GTX CPU
Graphics Card Ram Size 2 MB
Wireless Type 802.11bgn
Number of USB 2.0 Ports 2
Number of USB 3.0 Ports 2
It supports 1080p and 4k video. I think I may at some point upgrade to a smaller solid state drive for boot speed and an external for memory (I'm assuming there's only space in there for one drive).
I thought about going solid state for a boot drive too but my funds ran out. This seems like a solid machine though and it is going to fly compared to the old laptop you've been using.
The one I built is on a MSI motherboard with a AMD 3.8 GHz 8MB Cache processor but only a Nvidia Geforce GT 730 1 GB GDDR5 graphics card. I'm also rollin' with 8 GB DDR3 Ram with a 1 TB hard drive as well. I have my hard drive partitioned in 4 different partitions so it boots almost as fast as some solid state drives with the System partition of about 150 mb. It's a great machine when I use it, most of the time I'm using my slow, old piece of shit I keep in the living room with my guitars though.
