The ref didn't see Gracie kick Ken in the boys, and when they went to the ground because of it, the ref stopped the fight on punches for Gracie.
Shamrock was talking to the ref the whole time saying, I'm OK, I'm fine, but he still stopped the fight.
It was a very shitty way end a fued that started in UFC 1. If the ref had done right, it would have been a really good fight.
