It took me right up until dusk, but there is a shell now.
As much as it pains me to admit it, I did have a little boo-boo. In three different places the blade on my saw wobbled a little. So, there are a few places where my 45s have about a 1/16" play in them.
It's all good though. I have all screwed up, square, and rigid as hell. I'll just have to go back and inject glue into the 3 or 4 small gaps. Nothing but a thang.
I still have to caulk the bracing, route, and sand her up. This is nothing like what the finished product will look like. Not having a full shop and every single tool I need produces some interesting obstacles, but a little creativity goes a long way. It may be a slower process and a little more frustrating, but you still end up with a perfectly functional, beautiful, hand made product. The destination is so worth the journey though.
It's starting to look like something now.
