I'm racking my brain trying to put into words what it sounds like. This will have to do.
It feels like it's alive. Like it's more of a musical instrument. Depending on what I do with my playing, I can make make react in different ways.
A good hard hit and quick mute on a low note, makes what I call a "whromp." You can hear and feel the air moving in the cabinet to produce the effect. It's fucking sweet!
While playing with less pick attack in longer open runs, it's makes this almost reverb effect. It's beautiful.
I've never been one to cork sniff about cabinets, but it's so much better than those 2, 1x12s I've had for like 7 years now. Knocking on each one in comparison is even a whole different world. The 1x12 just thuds and goes dead. The new one has a tone when knocked on. It kind of rings for second.
I hope some of that helps. I'm in awe of it at the moment.
