The trick with grill cloth is ;
Put it on evenly without stretching it tight so all your lines are even. It usually hangs a little loose at this point. Then you pass a radiator or similar heat producing device [ maybe a hair dryer ] up an down and across at about six inches away and slowly apply the heat. It should shrink tightly and evenly. Don't do it too fast [ over heat it ] or it will distort.
