Sierra Pale Ale brought me back to drinking brewed beverages. Distilled drink: Windsor Canandian mixed with 7up and bitters.
last night I had a miller light 7oz pounder

Wow, I guess I kinda forgot about this thread... being how I just managed to have a weekend free of wife and kids I had many new beers. I hit the liquor store a couple of times and have recently had...
Hoppin' Frog IPA 6.8% ABV
Laganuta's Maximus IPA 7.5% ABV
Long Trail Coffee Stout 8.0% ABV
Founder's Breakfast Stout 8.3% ABV
I loved all of them except the Lagunita's Maximus which I didn't consider special or exceptional in any way. It just tasted like every other hoppy IPA.
A long time ago my daddy said, "Son, always cut away from yourself with a knife, treat every firearm as though it's loaded and never update your BIOS during a lightning storm".

All those beers are solid, I like the Lagunitas IPA, but if your not feelin that try Lagunitas Gnarleywine one of the best American Barleywines out there. Lagunitas is one of my fav breweries.
